Eric D. Olson is an international litigation and arbitration attorney with the boutique firm Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang & Waimey PC, which has offices in the U.S., Seoul, and London. Olson counsels with U.S. and Korea-based companies, many of them involving aspects of international trade and commerce. His work increasingly exposed him to issues of English law and arbitration, and in 2016, Olson successfully completed the process to be admitted as a practicing solicitor of England and Wales. He has practiced law in California since 1998.
His love for Korea and the Korean people began during his service in the Korea Taejon Mission (1990–92). He counts himself extremely blessed to visit Seoul and London frequently for work. He received a BA in Asian studies and political science from the University of California–Berkeley and a JD from the UCLA School of Law.
Olson and his wife Jennifer reside with their four children in Orange County, California. Outside of work, he currently teaches gospel doctrine in his local ward and sings with Millennial Choirs & Orchestras alongside his daughters.
